Ahhhhhh! Snow!!!!!!

The infection still remains within me. I’ve been on the run for almost 5 months now. For some reason I’ve not completely turned like all the others - it’s been a slow decent as the infection takes over, but if they catch me, they will kill me, so I need to keep moving. If anyone is receiving this message, please, I beg of you, send me Milk Chocolate M&M’s. I think it’s the only cure. There are on Regis Jack’s Wish List on Amazon. Go there. Now. Save me.

Not only am I sick this week, I’m also deeply saddened. Just before I started recording I saw a story from West Lafayette, Indiana where a church has a “resistance fair”, basically anti-Trump, but it was a peaceful event. The next morning they had banners on their fence saying things like, “Die Fuckers just like Orlando Los Vegas (sic)” and another that said “Jackson Browne N**** F** S* lover”. Evidently the church mentioned something about his progressive views in a flier. Also, one banner had the date of 1/23, which has not yet occurred. Is this a current and future violent threat?

It raises lots of questions, but for me I want to know why someone would respond with violence and racial slurs against something they disagree with? Is it because they are unable to hold an intelligent conversation? Unfortunately we know this isn’t true, there are plenty of smart racists (which still boggles my mind).

How can we respond to people who only know hate and violence? Because talking, peace, and love isn’t working.

This makes me think of a quote from James Mattis, “I come in peace. I didn’t bring artillery. But I’m pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you fuck with me, I’ll kill you all.”

Also, “Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.”

But most of all he said, “Engage your brain before you engage your weapon.”

I’m all for peace, love, and understanding (sing it if you know the words) but there is a time when you must use violence. Well, maybe not you. Maybe we will let Mad Dog Mattis do that for us.

But really, truthfully, how do we help people who respond to any disagreement with hate and violence? I really want to know. What is wrong with this people? Is it really human nature? Is all we do fuck, eat, and kill?

This wasn’t the only story like that this week. From Reuters, “A California couple has been charged with torture after police rescued their 13 malnourished children from a home where some of them had been chained to beds.”

There is serious mental illness spending like a virus across the planet.

There is rampant racism, sexism, all sorts of -isms everywhere.

And the US Government isn’t helping. It’s the Republicans fault. It’s the Democrats fault. Well, let me tell you, both sides are to blame. Our politicians are all elderly children who don’t care about us at all. It’s all about themselves. It’s about the party. It’s about who    pays them the most money to reelect them. This is why the party system has completely failed us. George Washington told us this a long time ago but we didn’t listen. It has turned into party against party with no regard for the laws / bills being passed. It’s not about content, it’s about egos. The only “side” of Government that matters is the people. And that’s been lost. Maybe it’s our fault. We elected these people to represent us, yet they don’t. They represent themselves, the party, the money. Seriously, the money is a big thing. Elected officials have to spend time making calls to big donors for funds. Go ahead. Research it yourself. They are not representing us anymore.

But how can they when we the people are so divided ourselves? It’s called discussion and compromise. Yes, it’s much harder to actually discuss a problem. That’s why people avoid it. They want the easy solution, aka, “The other side did it”.

The government shut down could be avoided if they worked together and focus on the actual problem instead of using the shutdown to pass other legislation. Both sides are equally to blame. We are equally to blame.

We are horrible horrible people.
